10 DAY TRIP!

We have recently learned about a great opportunity to serve and help with an important need in the Republic of Georgia. There is a need for a temporary Book-keeper and we have been asked to fill this position.

We are excited to help in any area of service and hope to be able to step in on time so there is no vacancy in the position.

It is a job of ‘details’ which requires some training. SO…I (Juan) will be traveling to the Rep. of Georgia for 10 days, November 9-18, to receive this training. The need for a book-keeper begins in January, so we hope and pray to leave for Georgia after the first of the year.

Please Pray:
--That all details be worked out for the trip, and safety
--That I learn and retain all I need to do an efficient, effective job
--For Shirley and Ayanna as they remain home for these 10 days
--For God’s provision and for more people to join our monthly support team in the coming weeks so that we will be able to move to Georgia in January.

News! And Knew's!

Ayanna’s first tooth! We were so excited when Shirley discovered it. She is doing great—weighing in at 19lbs8oz, and changing every day it seems. She has just started protesting when we take something out of her hands. And we all went to Ocean City, MD, for the day recently; Ayanna got to dip her toes in the ocean and experience the wonder of sand…everywhere! We love the beach and had loads of fun body-surfing, playing in the waves, and getting some sun. Thanks for inviting us Ang and Dessiree!
We currently have 1/3 of our monthly budget raised and we praise God for that. And say ‘thank you’ to all who are partnering with us. Please pray with us for the remaining 2/3’s of our budget to be raised as the Lord does His work and as we are faithful in serving Him and others, being a part of their lives and allowing them to share in our lives and what God is doing. We are continuing to share with other churches and individuals wherever doors open, communicating with all of you the Lord’s faithfulness in keeping His word. We also just had another great fundraiser, a *Spaghetti Dinner*, which was a great success!
