Summer Plans

The summer is fast approaching isn't it? We will both be finishing up our ESL classes within the next two weeks and the students have really done a great job. It is great to see the improvements they have made since the beginning.

We are going to our area retreat for 9 days in June and are all looking forward to that time of refreshment and relaxation! Ayanna can't wait to swim! Any time we are near water she wants to get in :) Please pray for safety while we travel - now that Ayanna is two she has to have her own seat on the plane. We got her a special 5 point harness that attaches to the airplane seat so we don't have to use a bulky car seat. What a blessed invention :)

We are really looking forward to all that this summer has in store. Since we have been here for over a year now, we have established some friendships and a deeper connection with the culture. We hope to experience more of Georgia this summer as we spend time with friends and visit different parts of the country.

We will be helping out on a Summer Project with University students that should be pretty cool and we hope to spend several days in the village of our dear friend and babysitter Natia. That will be a great time to practice our Georgian and who knows what else! :)

Then in August Juan's sister is coming for two weeks en route to Austria for her one year assignment and then our Country Coordinators return from their one year furlough.
