Hey Everyone…April 16, 2007 already…when we woke up this morning it was raining and it has now turned into what looks almost like a blizzard without the wind! It is snowing very hard at a slow and steady rate. All of the trees and cars are covered. Our five day forecast predicts clouds and rain across the board…I guess today it is colder than they expected.

We just had a week of “Spring Break” from our English classes which was very refreshing. Our classes are going well though it is taking us a bit longer to go through the material than we thought. That is not a bad thing, however. I am not sure if we will be able to start an additional third class or not – our schedule has really become full.

The departures for summer have already begun within the international community here. We had friends leave last Friday, some today, one on Thursday and then another again on Saturday. There are several families leaving in May/June also for summer itineration. Our International Fellowship is going to be very small this summer which might be kind of nice.

Ayanna is officially two now and she is more beautiful than ever : ) Her Georgian is developing right along with her English. Yesterday at church she was playing with a five year old Georgian girl and she was speaking Georgian (the words that she knows)…it seems she is able to understand when people don’t know English because she always speaks Georgian (umprompted by us) at the right time. There is a guard at the Bible school that she likes – and he adores her – his name is Gia. Last week when we got out of the car at church she yelled across the parking lot, “Gia…kargad shen?” Which is literally – good you? She was anticipating him asking her how she was and she knows the response. She now calls our babysitter, Natida, instead of just, Da…so she is making improvements all around.

Here are some recent pictures – We'll write again soon...
Ayanna's BOZ birthday cake turned out really well!
Finally - a good family photo :) It is not very often Ayanna is looking at the camera.
